The Section of Psychotherapy of the RANZCP is an active part of the College comprising the largest of the Sections with active members in all Branches.
The Branch chairpersons, the chair of the College Subcommittee for Advanced Training in the Psychotherapies and a registrar representative comprise the Section committee which meets regularly by teleconference and face to face at both the College Congress and Section of Psychotherapy annual conference.

The Section holds its annual meeting around October / November and in 2010 it is Sydney’s turn to host the meeting:
NSW Section of Psychotherapy Chairman Dr Jeffrey Streimer ably assisted by conference organising committee Drs Tony Korner, Peter Hoey, Raj Maheshwari and Paul Foulkes will welcome delegates from all around Australia & NZ to the meeting to be held on 5th -7th November 2010 at Coogee’s Crown Plaza Hotel with guest keynote speaker Professor Michael Lewis.
NSW will be hosting the visit of Dr Nancy McWilliams to Sydney after her keynote presentations at 2010 College Congress in Auckland NZ.
