Dr Werner Tschan is a practising Psychiatrist in Basel, Switzerland. He is the author of the book: Professional Sexual Misconduct in Institutions: Causes and Consequences, Prevention and Intervention. Goettingen, Hogrefe, 2014. He has dedicated his professional career to violence prevention, has written several contributions as well as lecturing worldwide on this subject. He is a practitioner providing solutions based on first hand experiences derived from the treatment of numerous affected survivors and their relatives, of offender-professionals and from consultation with institutions.
