Gallery of Modern Art Exhibition

There were many ways of endeavouring to describe the floods, and a word that kept being used was "surreal".  Fortuitously, the exhibition "Surrealism, the Poetry of Dreams"  will be on at the Gallery of Modern Art.  This comprises the core of the collection housed at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.  "This exhibition presents more than 180 works by 56 artists, including paintings, sculptures, ‘surrealist objects’, films, photographs, drawings and collages. 'Surrealism: The Poetry of Dreams' is an opportunity to see important art works that rarely leave Paris, in an exhibition that will provide a fascinating and comprehensive overview of this important artistic movement."             Gallery Hours – Saturday and Sunday 9:00 to 5:00
