Nicola is a Melbourne-based book editor and writer,
with a strong interest in psychoanalysis, and Unlike the Heart traces her
quest to understand the root cause of
the debilitating panic she experienced after the birth of her children. With
explorations of the human mind in philosophy, science and literature and the
unearthing of Redhouse’s own story, this intelligent, brave and accomplished
