Scholarship for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Course

at Sydney Institute for Psychoanalysis


The Sydney Institute for Psychoanalysis is pleased to announce a new scholarship for PPC@SIP course fees.The scholarship aims to promote excellence and diversity in the clinical application of psychodynamic thinking and to facilitate access to the Course.

The Sydney Institute for Psychoanalysis welcomes applications from students and clinicians working with disadvantaged patients in ‘not-for-profit’ organisations, or public mental health services, where psychodynamic thinking could be applied or developed.

Scholarship applications should be made on the relevant section of the PPC@SIP Application Form, available at this web address

Each application will be assessed on its meritsand suitable applicants will be offered an interview with a panel of Committee Members. The panel will consider the applicant’s written personal statement, professional interests and aspirations, and capacity to benefit from the Course. Up to two scholarships may be awarded each year.

Applications for the scholarship are now invited for the next Intake of PPC@SIP in Term 2, 2014.
