Outreach Programs
Each year, the NSW Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy holds public lectures, half day and one day seminars and a series of seminars on topics related to psychoanalytic psychotherapy. As a member of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia, the Institute has hosted meetings with many eminent overseas speakers. These have included Margaret and Michael Rustin, Marilyn Lawrence, Caroline Garland and Margot Waddell.

The Footprint of Trauma
An Outreach Series on Trauma
To be held on four consecutive Thursdays in February 2014 from 7:30-9pm.
In response to the popularity and oversubscription of the Trauma outreach series held in 2012, NSWIPP is very pleased to once again offer a repeat of the series.
The series will provide an opportunity to reflect on the impact of trauma in the lives of our patients and the impact of vicarious trauma on the therapist. This series will have relevance to psychotherapists and other mental health professionals with varying levels of therapeutic experience.
